Raymond Reggie
Ray Reggie devotes a significant amount of time and resources to the JTRA as a
volunteer and non compensated board member. He utilizes his relationships within
the business community and with nonprofit organizations, as well as the media,
to assist JTRA in its effort to feed the needy in New Orleans East and Gentilly.
Reggie has been an active participant with JTRA since 2002 and is in the process
of assisting the organization with its long term funding, volunteer coordination
and with the implementation of its new job skills program.
Troy Duhon
Troy Duhon is a very active member of the board for JTRA. Troy joins his wife,
children and his parents as volunteers at the food bank . Troy not only donates
the office and warehouse space for JTRA to operate out of, he allows all of the
employees at Premier Automotive Group to volunteer at JTRA while they are
carried working at their full time job. Troy, his family and his employees are
very active in JTRA and have been since 2002.
Duhon is the President of Premier Automotive Group, representing, Toyota, Honda,
Nissan and KIA.
Leslie
Edwards
Leslie is
a dedicated board member and strong believer in the JTRA cause. For
over 13 years she has been a Human Resources professional with
Enterprise Rent-A-Car holding the positions of Trainer, Recruiter
and Generalist. She is married with two handsome, full of energy
little boys.
Leslie is adamant about doing her part through JTRA to help "Stomp
Out Hunger" in New Orleans.
Castadera McGee
Castadera McGee is viable to the betterment of JTRA. He believes in the cause
and strives to keep the organization running full force. He is a non compensated
board member focused solely on helping JTRA continue GOD's work of "Feeding The
Multitude". He is a Captain for the New Orleans Fire Department, an active
member of the New Zion Baptist Church and the Male Chorus. He's married with 2
children and 2 grandchildren.
Castadera is a very active board member implementing ideas for the continued
success of JTRA.
Valerie Jordan
Valerie has been an active volunteer of JTRA since 1999 when it all began. She
is dedicated to the cause and its success. She is now an active board member who
is helping with finding funding activities to generate support for the
organization. She is a pharmaceutical buyer for Tulane hospital. She is divorced
with 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter.
Valerie has been and continues to be a dedicated supporter of JTRA.
Pastor Christopher Thompson Sr.
Pastor Chris of the Crossway Christian Center of Geismar, LA. is a dedicated board member. He has a wife and two beautiful children. Being a man of God with a vision of Feeding The Multitude and truly believing in the cause. He has been a strong force in getting JTRA to establish a food pantry in Gonzales, La. to service Gonzales and the surrounding areas.
Pastor Chris is a pastor with a vision for faith based and non-profit working together for the betterment of the community.
Michael Burnett Sr.
Michael Burnet Sr. is the Administrative Assistant at Cross Way Christian Center in Geismar, La., under the leadership of Pastor Chris Thompson Sr. Michael is a husband of eight years and a father of two. He is originally from Gonzales, La. and an avid community leader in the city he grew up in. He knows firsthand what it’s like to struggle, growing up with a single mother.
Now his desire is to give back to others. And through J.T.R.A., he’s able to accomplish that goal.
JTRA Policy 2011:001 Conflict of Interest
Just The Right Attitude, Inc. has a non-compensated governed board of directors. No board member or staff is allowed to benefit from any entity doing business with the nonprofit, directly or indirectly. No board member or staff is allowed to accept compensated business from any entity doing business with the nonprofit. This will be considered a conflict of interest and is unacceptable and grounds for removal from board or position with the nonprofit.
